Tarana Burke Was also born and raised in the bronx attened Lehman HS and later on Alabama State University and eventually Auburn University in Montgomery. She joined the 21 st Century Youth Leardership Movement in 1989 at the age of 15 and continued to work with the organization for 18 years....she also helped to start just Be Inc.........
